The pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models used in the application are following a complete process of implementation, evaluation, and validation. Relevant procedures have been defined within the quality management system set up by ExactCure to obtain the status of a class 1 medical device. The sources used in this process are:
- The legal information provided by the manufacturer in the SPC (Summary of Product Characteristics). The SPC for each pharmaceutical product in France can be consulted at: https://base-donnees-publique.medicaments.gouv.fr/index.php
- Various sources of scientific literature ( https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ ) that can provide information on the values of expected pharmacokinetics parameters. For more information on the field of pharmacokinetics: https://pharmacomedicale.org/ (in French).
- Other sources of scientific literature that provide information on expected drug exposure levels during therapeutic drug monitoring of patients (for example: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7201985/ ).
